Erica Harriss Says Cullerton’s Conviction is Only the Tip of the Iceberg

Erica Harriss, Candidate for State Senate in the 56th District has released a statement on the conviction of former democratic Senator Tom Cullerton for embezzlement:

“One of the biggest complaints I hear from people in the Metro East is how corrupt our state is, and Tom Cullerton’s conviction for defrauding a labor union is just more proof of that fact. Illinois has one of the worst reputations for politicians trying to profit from their power and in recent years we have seen multiple members like Cullerton implicated criminal proceedings. Unfortunately, for every unethical or illegal act that becomes public, there are countless others that go unnoticed and unpunished.
